Helping Small Businesses grow their businesses on the web

5.1 million Canadians1.2 million small- and medium-sized businessesAdWords Business Credit For over a decade, AdWords has helped businesses of all sizes grow – by helping promote local businesses to the millions of people that search the web everyday for information about their favorite restaurant, their next purchase, or the service providers they need for their cars, their homes, their work.
As Tom Hutchinson, Google’s Vice-President Finance, explains: “We’ve consistently heard from small businesses that affordable access to credit is an important piece in growing their online presence, and ultimately, growing their business.”
“Small businesses need to be visible where consumers choose to be, so investing in an online presence is fundamental to attracting new customers and staying competitive,” says Richard Thomas, head, Business Credit Cards, RBC. “With AdWords Business Credit, business owners can capitalize on the benefits of online advertising, while freeing up cash flow.”
Here are a few details about the cards:

In Canada, AdWords Business Credit will have an 11.99% interest rate, with no annual fees.

RBC Royal Bank will be issuing the MasterCard.

AdWords Business Credit can only be used for online AdWords advertising purchases.

AdWords Business Credit comes to Canada after successful programs in the US and UK, where feedback from participating businesses has been overwhelmingly positive. In Canada, nearly half of small business owners we surveyed reported that they had to restrict AdWords campaigns to fund other business expenses, and half reported experiencing cash flow issues that could be improved with better access to credit. That’s where AdWords Business Credit can make a difference to these SMBs.
